Champagne Marguet Père et Fils “Sapience” Brut Nature Premier Cru 2009
R3,850.00 inc. VAT
“This is the fourth vintage of Benoît Marguet’s Sapience, Champagne’s first organic prestige cuvée, which he began producing before he took over his family vineyards, using purchased grapes: Bouzy Pinot Noir from Benoît Lahaye, Cumières Pinot Meunier from Vincent Laval and Trépail Chardonnay from David Leclapart. Disgorged in June 2019 without dosage, the 2009 Brut Nature Premier Cru is showing brilliantly, wafting from the glass with a complex bouquet of citrus oil, dried orange peel, white flowers and subtle hints of praline. Full-bodied, layered and textural, it’s seamless and complete, with a deep core, ripe but racy acids and a long, intense finish” – William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Champagne Pol Roger Brut Réserve Jeroboam 6L Non-Vintage, “Pale yellow. Toasty melon and white peach on the nose, with orange zest and dusty minerals emerging with air. Lively, mineral-laced citrus and orchard fruit flavors show good palate-coating intensity without any excess weight. The clinging finish displays a subtle floral quality and repeating orange and melon notes.” – Josh Raynolds, Vinous
Champagne Pol Roger Rosé 2015
R1,595.00 inc. VAT
"Fleshy and dramatic, Pol Roger's 2015 Brut Rosé bursts with aromas of plums, red berries, blanched almonds and subtle hints of tangerine oil. On the palate, it's full-bodied, broad and enveloping, with an elegantly muscular, vinous profile, its fleshy core of fruit girdled by bright acids and delicately chalky structuring extract. This is an especially gastronomic rosé from this house, and it should age with style given its concentration and depth." - William Kelley, Wine Advocate
Champagne Lanson Noble Cuvée Brut 1998 Magnum
R4,995.00 inc. VAT
"Light yellow. Rich and smoky, with deep pit fruit aromas enlivened by zesty minerality. Round and fleshy, with peach and poached pear flavors braced by slow-mounting spiciness and citrus zest bite. Takes on a firm character on the finish, which is refreshingly brisk and impressively persistent. This could stand some patience but is plenty of fun to drink now. " - Josh Raynolds, Vinous
