Champagne Pol Roger Rosé 2012
"Remembering the rather reserved phase in which I had found Pol Roger's 2012 Brut Rosé when I reviewed it in August, I pulled a bottle from my cellar to check in on its evolution. A few months have made a difference, and the wine is more expressive already, wafting from the glass with a lovely bouquet of plums, red berries, blood orange and toasted brioche. On the palate, it's full-bodied, muscular and vinous, with terrific depth and structure at the core, its ripe but racy acids balanced by considerable texture and concentration. While this remains youthfully tight-knit, I'm inclined to think I was very conservative regarding its ultimate potential." William Kelley
Clos Cantenac L’exuberance Rosé 2019 Jeroboam (3L)
"The colour is a triumph, a beautifully pale, shimmering salmon pink. A standout in the company of other Bordeaux rose leaving the mouth clean, refreshed and wanting more.” – Hugo Rose, MW
Domaine de Triennes Rosé 2019
“Light bright orange. Lively and focused on the nose and in the mouth, displaying fresh red berry and citrus fruit character and a suggestion of succulent herbs. Racy and refreshingly tangy in style; a deeper cherry note emerges on the back half. Finishes with good, zesty thrust, leaving a bitter orange pith note behind.” – Josh Raynolds, Antonio Galloni’s Vinous.com
Valenciso Rioja Rosé 2019
Produced with Tempranillo and aged with lees for nine months, the bright pink 2019 shows high ripeness and quite a full body for a rose. It has notes of ripe strawberries and a: twist with a round palate that reveals ripe flavors, finishing dry and with a bitter touch. 4,000 bottles produced. This is the first time I've tasted this rose, but it's not the first year they've produced it. bottles were filled in July 2020.
