Champagne Marguet Père et Fils Shaman Grand Cru 2017
R750.00 inc. VAT
“Scents of pear, waxy citrus rind, mandarin orange, peach and buttery pastry, Marguet’s NV Shaman 17 is medium to full-bodied, pillowy and vinous, with bright acids and chalky grip. It was disgorged in September 2020. As readers will remember, the “17” denotes the base vintage, which is complemented by reserve wines from a solera established in 2010.” – William Kelley, The Wine Advocate

Champagne Pol Roger Brut Réserve Non-Vintage 375ml
R695.00 inc. VAT
Champagne Pol Roger Brut Réserve, “Pale yellow. Toasty melon and white peach on the nose, with orange zest and dusty minerals emerging with air. Lively, mineral-laced citrus and orchard fruit flavors show good palate-coating intensity without any excess weight. The clinging finish displays a subtle floral quality and repeating orange and melon notes.” – Josh Raynolds, Vinous
Colmant Cap Classique Brut Rosé Non-Vintage
R330.00 inc. VAT
"Labelled as a non-vintage MCC, this is dominated by base wine from the 2021 harvest. Marrying Pinot Noir from Franschhoek and Stellenbosch with 25% Chardonnay from Barrydale, Elgin and Franschhoek again, this benefited from the inclusion of 15% reserve material. Fresh, light and easy drinking with creamy bubbles and citrus and raspberry fruit." - Tim Atkin MW
Colmant Cap Classique Délice Nectar Non-Vintage
R325.00 inc. VAT
"Elegantly luscious yet still classic, this blend offers an exotic twist to the Colmant style. Franschhoek, Robertson and Elgin fruit were used in the 52% Pinot Noir and 48% Chardonnay blend. A portion (10%) of the wine underwent fermentation in French oak barrels and 20% of reserve wine from previous vintages was blended in to enhance intensity and complexity. Maturation time on lees is 24 months minimum. The wine was then degorged with the addition of a generous liqueur de dosage which added a unique twist to the gentle aroma and flavour." - Winemaker's notes
