BLANKbottle Confessions of a White Glove Chaser 2020, “The first time Pieter Walser saw the farm where he buys these grapes, they were being picked by people wearing white gloves for a brand called 4G. Hence the name. Textured and perfumed, it’s very much a Cabernet Franc-based style, with 36% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot for support. Graphite, bramble and black cherry flavours complete the palate.” – Tim Atkin MW
Domaine Marquis d’Angerville Bourgogne Passetoutgrains 2019, Notes of Griotte cherries, red berries and spices introduce the 2019 Bourgogne Passetoutgrains, a medium-bodied wine built with a crunchy core of fruit, tangy acids and melting tannins. It's a fine example of the underrated genre. - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Chateau de Saint Cosme Little James NV, "I enjoyed the non-vintage Little James. A blend of primarily Grenache (from both the Southern Rhone and the Languedoc-Roussillon), some of which is vinified carbonically, it is an excellent, surprisingly substantial, heady, full-flavored bistro red. Consume it over the next several years.- Robert M. Parker, Jr., The Wine Advocate
Interesting herbaceous profile, showing earthy, crushed leaf components and even agave, but without any green, bitter elements. The palate is broad, with red fruited accessibility, and the property’s signature structure and firm tannins. Medium bodied.
