“This cuvée comes from a warm terroir in Épieds, south-east of Brézé. It has been matured in barrel for one year, and has seen no malolactic fermentation. Aromatically this feels attractively challenging, with suggestions of crushed rocks and saline minerals. There is a touch of roast to the fruits, led by peach and apricot, spiced up with star anise. The palate shows the same spiced-fruit melange, infused with a little powdered chalk, before a lightly bitter finish. With a good length, this is a promising start” – Chris Kissack, The Wine Doctor

Alheit Vineyards Fire by Night 2023
R595.00 inc. VAT
"2023 This vintage really captures the beauty of the Paardeberg: clean air, mountain herbs, tight and pithy, sprung with coiled up energy, spring water purity, an impression finely etched in granite. The nose shows some lovely flinty reduction, green citrus, and thatch. The palate is high energy, high fidelity, pure and racy. The finish is bracing and long." - Winemaker's notes
Tempus White Blend 2022
R525.00 inc. VAT
"The wine was vinified and matured in our very own concrete egg that stays in the Sadie Family winery. It was bottled and released at the same time as the 2018 Columella and Palladius and 2019 Ouwingerdreeks wines. This Chenin Blanc is very aromatic on the nose with floral and stoned fruit notes. The mouthfeel is rich and textured, but beautifully poised with acidity that gives the wines real length. The wine is lovely to drink now, but we suggest cellaring it for 3-5 years." - Great Domaines
David & Nadia Chenin Blanc 2022 Magnum
R860.00 inc. VAT
“This is the biggest production Chenin Blanc from David and Nadia Sadie, sourced from eight different old-vine parcels and now amounting to 16,000 bottles. Granite-based with other components on shale, clay and limestone, it’s a nuanced, effortlessly balanced white with notes of aniseed, oatmeal, wet stone and pithy citrus and yellow apple fruit.” – Tim Atkin MW
