“I like the purity and profile of the 2018 Arbois Poulsard, which, like the sample I tasted before, is quite expressive and agreeable, bright and lively, aromatic and open, quite elegant, with some tannins. It’s not as funky as many examples of the grape can be. They picked a little early, and the wine is somewhat herbaceous (in a positive way) and only 11.5% alcohol.” – Luis Gutiérrez, The Wine Advocate

Château de Pibarnon Bandol Rouge 2019

Pibarnon's 2019 Bandol is marked by scents of vanilla, black cherries and plums. An assemblage of 90% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache, it's ripe, even a touch jammy, in a powerful, modern style. Full-bodied, supple and rich, it finishes with a gentle coating of soft tannins. I suspect my rating is conservative, but in this year's blind-tasting, I actually preferred the less expensive Restanques de Pibarnon bottling. - Joe Czerwinski, The Wine Advocate

Domaine Marquis d’Angerville Bourgogne Passetoutgrains 2019, Notes of Griotte cherries, red berries and spices introduce the 2019 Bourgogne Passetoutgrains, a medium-bodied wine built with a crunchy core of fruit, tangy acids and melting tannins. It's a fine example of the underrated genre. - William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
