Champagne Pierre Péters Grande Réserve Grand Cru Non-Vintage

Cuvée Grande Réserve Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru "The wine is like crystal, the robe is golden with hints of green typical to the Chardonnay. The mousse is fine and regular with a pretty ribbon of strong bubbles. First nose is flowery, full of fresh flavors quickly evolving to notes of white peaches and citrus peel Some hints of toasted bread, as well. This wine shows its generosity on the palate while remaining very pure and elegant. First sip is both greedy and tense, dominated by whites fruits, lemon confit and tangerine peel. Then come fine hints of grilled hazelnut. The finish reveals the typical chalk of Le Mesnil sur Oger which brings to the wine a vivid effect and a long after-taste of sea salt and iodine." - Winemaker's notes

Champagne Pierre Péters Extra-Brut Grand Cru Non-Vintage

"The NV Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra Brut is entirely from the 2014 vintage and was sourced in four parcels of the Côte des Blancs. Opening with potted ginger and white flowers on the clear, fresh, precise and chalky nose, this is a pure, fresh, elegant, beautifully dry and chalky grand cru with an expressive, stimulating iodine-inflected finish that reveals a persistent structure and freshness. This is a damned serious and chalky Blanc de Blancs that was disgorged in January 2018 with just two grams of dosage." - Stephan Reinhardt, Wine Advocate

Champagne Pierre Péters Millesime L’Esprit Grand Cru 2016

Cuvée Millésimée L’esprit Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru, "The wine is a luminous pale gold color with hints of green typical of the Chardonnay varietal. The mousse is fine and regular with a pretty ribbon of strong bubbles. The first approach is subtle which, once aerated, opens to floral notes (lime-tree) and dried fruits. Notes of citrus and almond follow with finishing touches of minerality bringing both complexity and elegance. Other than vintages marked by hot and dry growing seasons, L’Esprit typically has a well-balanced attack which is both frank and stylishly elegant. Delicate notes of lemon and stone fruit and flowers are followed by notes of tangerine and toasted bread. The finish is persistent with candied citrus flavors and a chalky minerality that adds a twist of salinity. This Champagne represents the perfect balance between strength and finesse."
