Paardebosch Rebrand

The Paardebosch range of wines by David and Nadia has been a crowd favourite from the very beginning; especially when it came to their Pinotage.

The Paardebosch range of wines by David and Nadia has been a crowd favourite from the very beginning; especially when it came to their Pinotage.

David and Nadia have however decided to discontinue the Paardebosch Pinotage and re-release it under a different banner, produced from grapes from the Paardebosch farm. We received the flowing Press Release from the farm:

“Pinotage rebranded!

Although we were contemplating for a long time to take this step, we are very confident that the time has come….
The Paardebosch Pinotage is situated on the highest planted slopes of the Paardebosch farm and only yields 3.5 tons per hectare. It is therefore expensive to farm, but more importantly, we are able to produce exceptional wines from these difficult to farm, low-yielding, dry-land vineyards.

We therefore decided to discontinue the Paardebosch Pinotage and re-release the Pinotage produced from the grapes from the Paardebosch farm. By doing so, we can ensure the viability of the project. For the lifespan and longevity of the vineyard this is the only way forward and we are extremely proud of the 2015 vintage! We are convinced that the slightly increase in price will still over-deliver!

David & Nadia”

With the Pinotage receiving 94/100 from WineMag and retailing for around R130 a bottle, it’s not hard to understand why David and Nadia have decided to give this wine some undivided attention. Watch this space for the release of the next vintage of this stunning wine.
