The Thienpont family of Château Le Pin in Pomerol owns another estate in Saint-Émilion called Château L’If. Plantings are dominated by Merlot at 70% with 25% Cabernet-Franc and 5% Cabernet-Sauvignon. The second wine, Les Collines de L’If, gets its name from the rolling slopes where the grapes are grown. Made from a blend of 91% Merlot and 9% Cabernet Franc, the Collines vineyard comprises three hectares of the estate.

In 2015, Keermont Vineyards decided that the quality of the vintage demanded that its Estate Reserve required more attention. As such, there was meticulous attention paid to every last detail of this Stellenbosch red blend and to release it, when ready, as Keermont’s true flagship wine. This blend is called the Keermont “Amphitheatre” and the 2015 vintage is the maiden release. The bend is made up of 32% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Cabernet Franc, 22% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec and 1% Syrah.
